Summary
There once was a miller who had three sons. He left one son his mill, one his donkey, and one his cat. The one that was given Puss felt as though he had been cheated by his father, but that was not the case at all. Puss asked his master for two things, a bag and a pair of boots. So, he spent the last of his money to fulfill his cat's request. With his new gifts, Puss began his travels and along the way he won over the heart of the king, tricked and ate an ogre, and basically gave his master, the Marquis of Carabas, his marriage to the princess.
